Le printemps est là! / Spring is here!

Bonjour! Aujourd'hui à Montréal, Mère Nature nous a fait sourire avec des températures dépassant 20°C pour cette journée d'équinoxe du printemps! En espérant que la belle température se maintienne, je vous présente mon premier look de la saison chaude, qui sera peut-être suivi d'autres si ça vous plaît!

Hello! Today in Montreal, Mother Nature made us smile with temperatures higher than 20°C in this spring equinox day! Hoping the good temperature will stay, I present you my first look of the hot season, which might be followed by others if you like it!

Alors ce look est composé d'un simple T-shirt imprimé, d'une veste en cuir vintage et de shorts faits maison! Le T-shirt vient de chez Urban Outfitters, où je l'ai acheté il y a quelques années déjà. La veste en cuir appartenait à une amie de ma mère, qui l'a retapé avant de la donner à ma soeur. Toutefois, ce n'est pas vraiment son style, alors la veste est restée dans un placard jusqu'à ce que je la découvre! L'intérieur est satiné (vous le verrez sur les prochaines images) et il y a des motifs aux manches et à la boutonnière. Les shorts sont en fait un vieux pantalon coupé et recousu. Les gars, n'écoutez pas la croyance populaire voulant que les shorts cut-off ne sont que pour les filles, ce n'est pas vrai!

So this look is composed of a simple graphic T-shirt, a vintage leather jacket and home-made shorts! The T-shirt is from Urban Outfitters, where I bought it a few years ago now. The leather jacket first belonged to my mom's friend, who revamped it and gave it to my sister. However, it isn't really her style, so the jacket stayed in a closet until I discovered it! The inside is satin-y (you'll see it in the next pictures) and there are patterns on the sleeves and the buttonholes. The shorts are actually an old pair of pants I cut and sewed up. Boys, don't listen to the popular belief according to which cut-off shorts are only for girls, it's not true!
